Jumping desktop icons

Desktop icons at random, individually, sometimes jump around to different
parts of desktop. I simply put it back to where I want it. Running WindowsXP.
Already checked for virus' and adware. Computer is clean. What would cause
these icons to move about at random like this? Thanks.
