jpg attachments

When I receive email with a jpg attachment, I get the
following error when I double click it to view:
"The system cannot find a path specified." However, any
other attachments (ie doc, xls, pdf . . ) I can view by
double clicking. I know the system can really "find" the
file because I can save the attachment and view it from
Explorer.

When I first installed Office 2003, I could douoble click
a jpg attachment to view it.

Can anyone help with what may have happened?

thanks
