it is not possible to join your machine to 2 differents domains at the
same time

No, not at the same time. I think the OP wants to be able to switch from
one domain to the other upon changing locations.

Also have a look at www.globesoft.com for MultiNetworkManager.

Yeah but by joining one domain you leave another. Which makes for a
cumbersome process indeed when travelling back and forth between the two
offices.

In those circumstances i might choose to have my notebook not in either
domain and run a different batch job depending on which office im in today
to map drives, printers etc for that office.

If the 2 domains trust eachother, then it is possible. Otherwise you will
need to join your laptop to the domain every time you switch domains. You
would need to know the domain adminsitrator password in order to do that.
You can use a program called NetSwitcher to simplify the process.

If you use MultiNetwork Manager you only need to do this once this is
a by far better product when it comes to joining different domains and
beeing mobile with your laptop the new Wlan support is a dream
You Will find it at www.globesoft.com

Joining Laptopto Two Domains

Simple and best way is to partition the hard drive and install the OS on each partition. Then set each OS to connect to a single domain. When Booting up, select the OS relavent to the domain you want to connect to.

You can still share information if you need to but this also keeps everything seperate.

It's just like walking around with two different laptops.
