Joining Computer into the Domain

I have a PDC & an additional DC (BDC) with in my network. The PDC is
down...and noew the DBC is taking charge on the authentication. My question
is can I still join a computer in the network to my domain?I try it but it
says "Domain Cannot be Contacted".How could I join those computers using the
BDC.
