Joining a Domain Problem

I have just built a new computer and I want to join it to
my domain as a member server. Everytime I try I get a
logon error that the username or password cannot be found.

I have used this same username and password to join other
computers and to logon to the domain.

The only change I have made to the domain controller is
to add a certificate authority.

I am baffled.

That is usually a Name Resolution Problem
Check DNS on the client to ensure it is configured to user your
Domain's DNS server.

And check the obvious - cable is connected and you have connection
lights.
