join PC to domain

I

itsmetn

Using the netdom command I get a Access denied error when trying to join
computers to a specific domain's OU but I can create the PC object using the
AD Users and Computers GUI.
Platform WinXP SP1, netdom obtained from W2K Support tools
Windows 2000 AD
My netdom syntax:
netdom join PC01 /domain:mydomain.com
/OU:blush:u=desktops,ou=computers,ou=LA,dc=mydomain,dc=com /userd=me
/passwordd=mypswd

I searched and believed I got the correct version and the syntax.
Any thoughts, anyone?

My one thought is go into the Windows 2000 sp4 (patch) and use that netdom
and not the one from the original install. I have seen some tools fail when
they aren't at the same level.
