Jeopardy type game

I have constructed a Jeopardy type game for a class. The main board has a
series of number when selected go to the question and then answer then return
to the main board (my first slide). This series is followed for each
question category selected. When I return to the main board of numbers I
would like the number to have changed for those numbers selected. I have
tried a number of alternatives from slide design/change color to custom
animation/more colors and cannot get the color to change when returning to
the main board.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Having been an avid "Jeopardy" fan since the days of Art Fleming, I would be
interested in knowing if you would keep me posted on your progress with this
project?

If you make the number itself on the slide a hyperlink, when you click on it
then it should turn the shade you have set for hyperlinks so when you go
back to your main page, it should view as a "visited hyperlink" and change
to that color.

What version of PowerPoint? If you are using 2002 or above, this can be
done with trigger animations.
