Javascript errors with IE 6 and XP SP2

What does SP2 do to IE 6 that would cause users to all of a sudden see
Javascript errors for functions that worked previously? Is there a fix?

Essentially we are accessing a frame and changing some of the values. The
frameset is in the same domain.
