What a pain in the bloody neck getting that installed ... :rolleyes:

I have no idea why, but don't bother trying to download & update from Sun Java dot com ... Vista just would not allow it to install correctly.

However, I have a new "toy" from filehippo ... it is only Beta, but it works well ... Update Checker. Actually, it ain't that new, but I've only just remembered where it is. :p

It told me I have an update for JRE6 ... so I downloaded it, it happens to be the exact same file as that from Sun, but at least this one works. :lol:
