java problems

Just reinstalled windows since xp 64 didnt work well and i installed java
and its not working. I cant get any of my java programs to load up and when
I do speed tests they dont redirect to the results. I've uninstalled java
reinstalled it restarted the computer countless times what can I do?

Using Windows xp pro sp2

Yes, that's right. But have you seen whether you have installed the latest version? You can see following the link.

well if thats thats the same version that was on thier that I have been
attempting to install all week then I've got it.

Well, if I've understood, you say that XP restarts continuously, doesn't it? If so, see this and do what is stated in "Not using registry editor". Then next time, instead of restarting you'll see an error screen. Post it here.

ummm no I said that I've restarted the computer after every install and
every uninstall and I've regedit all instances of java out of the registry
as well after each uninstall so I dunno its just not working :( no error
messages nothing wont re-direct when I do a speed test and java games cant
find the wjview fiel when I run them.
