Recently, my Task manager began acting up. A picture of what it looks like
now can be seen at the following url.

I have located taskmgr.exe or some variation thereof in the following
directories on my PC
C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\taskmgr.exe-20256C55.pf
C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskmgr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\taskmgr.exe (shows up blue in search)
C:\WINDOWS\TASKMAN.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\I386\TASKMAN.EX_
C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskman.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\taskman.exe (shows up blue in search)
com/ms/util/TaskManager.class
I am running Avast 4.7antivirus, ewido 4.0 antispyware, and Filseclab
Personal Firewall Professional Edition 3.0 on Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition 5.1.2600 SP2.0
My HijackThis log can be viewed at the following url
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/4930/hijacklogma4.th.png
On a possibly related note, whenever I attempt to shut don windows, I get a
window stating something to the effect of "Windows is attempting to shut down
this program" with the options of end task or wait. The name of the program
is SuperMWindow, but I cannot find such a file either online or on my hard
drives.
1. Is there a way to fix the issue with Task Manager short of reinstalling
windows or performign a system restore?
2. Has anyone ever heard of SuperMWindow, and if so, is there a wa to rid
myself of it if it is indeed bad?
I would greatly appreciate any and all help.
