Issue with Different Headers and Footers

Hi,

I am facing typical probelm in word. I have a 12 page document. First four
pages have one header and footer. After 4th page, i have put a IF condition
with some mergefield and a Section break with NEXT PAGE before conent start.

If mergefield value is equal, it has to show another 4 pages with different
header, footer. Similarly, after second set of 4 pages, i have put another IF
condition with same mergefield and again a section break with NEXT PAGE to
show another 4 pages with different header and footer. When i test this
through mail merge, i can see conditions are working,. but if conditions are
not met , it should show first 4 pages, it shows only 4 pages, but its
pulling through the last section header and footer instead of first section
one.

I despirately need any help or suggestions to fix this problem.

Is it possible you could use a StyleRef field in the header instead of the
conditional field?

No, i have a requirement that has to match that mergefield in the header. Is
there any other way to fix this by using Mergefield condition ?

For complex merge questions, you'd probably get better answers if you post
in microsoft.public.word.mailmerge.fields.
