I have other issues with sp2, but the one required fix is
to add a program exception to the Firewall.
The add program exception is greyed out however.
I do get the message "For your security, some settings
are controlled by Group Policy.", so am thinking that may
be something to do with it.
The only thing I can find on the MS KB is this one:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;872769
I am in a 2003 Enterprise Server domain, but that KB
article seems to only apply to a 2003 SBS.
The greyed out Add Program button is greyed out on all my
domain SP2 systems (workgroup PC's are fine), so I am
thinking it is something in the Domain Policy, but we
don't have a particularly complicated policy in place.
Does anyone know where I could look in the policy?
Any help much appreciated.
Kind regards
Garth
