Issue loading website and running application

I've been having an issue running a certain website and application with
Vista. The website is very slow, takes about 15-25 minutes to load and loads
fine with XP. Have no other problems with any other page, except that one
checked it today and no problem with XP.

I also have a application than runs video, not live video, it's downloaded
from a cd. The video takes a long time to load and often is not in synch
with words and sound.

I have no problem running graphics or anything else so far. I have a 256MB
graphics card, 1.5GB ram and the Vista Windows Experience tool doesn't give
me any bad scores.

Is there a plugin or add on, or program I need to install or is this just a
compatability issue with Vista that hasn't been address yet?? Anyone have
any ideas

As far as the video, do you happen to have an NVIDIA card? They still
have incomplete drivers that will cause that to happen.

Try downloading Firefox (www.getfirefox.com) and see if the web page
loads faster. IE7 does have a few issues, and using Firefox may remedy
that one.

I installed Firefox and that solved the problem of loading the page.

My video card is a Geforce 6200 which is made by Nvidia. Thought I had the
drivers installed correctly. There weren't any errors in the device manager.

Are the issues with IE 7 and the video card a temp problem and will I
receive an automatic update when it's fixed or should I check the Nvidia
website.

The drivers did install correctly, it's just that NVIDIA still has some
bugs to work out of them. It is a temporary problem that should get
fixed asap. At least that is what we are all hoping!

I'll try to answer again, my previous 2 replies didn't go through. I have a
geforce 6200 video card, which is made my Nvidia and installing Firefox
solved the issue of the web page.

Will I receive an automatic update for the video card driver or do I need to
look on their website for any updates.

I'm also assuming the problems with IE 7 is temp and will be fixed sometime
in the future.

Sorry, I have the full Buisness Version. I don't know the full hardware on
my motherboard. It's a 8x agp ge force 6200 card. Not sure of the clock
speed. I run the cpu/memory gadget on my side bar and the memory usage is at
about 30-40% on average with everything running.

The program I use to run doesn't need much to run. I had no problem running
it on an onboard video card in the past. I assumed the problem was a
capability issue with Vista. I looked at the Nvidia site tonight and they
have new drivers, but it's only a beta version and I rather wait until they
get a full version released, unless there is something I missed.
