I too am suffering with this problem, I have tried Toolbar Cop and Spybot
Search & Destroy, but to no avail. Its still there, unless I'm doing
something seriously wrong.

Hi Jim,

Already tried it, 'ISEARCH' tool bar still there. I'm currently trying
'Hijackthis' as suggested by a fellow sufferer.

I'll let you know what happens.

John,
Ad-aware 6 from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ will remove this.
Note: Ad-aware should always be updated after installation- before use.

Afterwards,to fix the toolbars http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFAQ.htm
Scroll down to "32 Toolbars are locked - Unable to customize toolbar and
tool band"

Hi Jim,

Tried a program called 'Hijackthis' which seems to have worked a treat. Not
only has it removed the 'Isearch' toolbar but also some other rubbish
attached to my browser. All seems to run alot faster now. Thanks for your
help and assistance.

Cheers for now.

I saw your Hijackthis log, Jim. Did you update Ad-Aware first? If so, it should have removed the bar. Or, just unregister the toolbar.dll [regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32\toolbar.dll], this would remove this ISearch toolbar.

Hi,

Ad-aware is now version 6.181, thanks, but using Hijackthis was easy, as
long as you know what your looking for. It hasn't come back yet, so my
system is clean again, for how long I don't know. Thanks again for your help
and advice.

Cheers for now.

I have this problem and anytime I try one of the links suggested, I am
hijacked to the isearch website.
