Laptop is a re-booting Loop.
OS: XP Home Edition.
Worked last night, but when turned it on this morning,
stuck in a loop.
Error box appears for a couple of seconds, then re-boots.
Isass.exe - System Error
When trying to update a password the return status
indicates that
the value provided as the current password is not correct
Only reference found in MS web-site is this article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;316134 but this is not an Out of the Box problem.
I have done the following:
Last Known Good... Failed.
Safe Mode... Failed.
Recovery Console to repair.. not able to do. Asks for an
Administrator Password, but one was never setup.
Searched the net, appears to be a common problem with XP
for a long time.
HP is taking their time to respond to me help request.
Does anybody have a fix?
Know the default Administrator password, or how to bypass
it?
