Is Vista compatable with other Windows Software?

Our company has purchased a laptop that came equipped with the Vista
software. I was wondering if it is possible to download MS 2007 on that
laptop without creating a mess? I want one of our employees to be able to
use that computer however without Vista on all of the other computers, it
makes it difficult for there transfer of Documents.

Thanks!

Office 2007 wil work with Vista, and is backwards-compatible with Office
2003 files

If you mean Office 2007, then yes, works perfectly with Vista. :)

Hi Kelly,

What do you mean by MS 2007? Guessing that you mean Office 2007,
then yes, you can install Office 2007 on a computer running the Vista
Operating
System. If you want to transfer files to earlier versions of Office, you
will
need to save them in the older version format in Office 2007, since their
default is a new XML based file format that isn't compatible with older
versions
of Office.

I suggest you try OpenOffice.org - it should do the job for you.

If you are running Office 2003, I don't know about earlier versions, it will
prompt you to install a convertor from MS when you open a 2007 Word or Excel
file.
