Is this a network problem or something else?

Some months ago I installed an external USB hard drive on one of my 3
Windows XP Pro computers. The drive worked well on the local computer and it
could also be accessed remotely from any of my 2 other networked computers.

Last week I tried to access this drive remotely using My Network Places and
found that I no longer have permissions. I do have Share enabled for this
drive and it appears that everything is set properly as best as I can tell.
I have no problem accessing the computer itself, only it's external drive.

These are the various error messages I get:
\\computera\external (H) is not accessible
You might not have permissions to use this network resource
The network path was not found
Not enough server storage is available to process command

Thinking I may have a problem with this particular computer, I moved the
external drive to one of my other computers. Again, the drive works fine
locally but same problem when I try to access it over the network.

Appreciate any and all suggestions as to what my problem might be. Also, is
there any recommended software program that I could used to diagnose network
problems such as this one?

TIA

Jim,

Your server (the computer with the drive installed) has a problem with the
IRPStackSize setting.
