Is there software to check MB Type?

Hi,
I ahve looked all over my motherboard but am unable to see what model it is.
(I am trying to load new drivers for the onboard sound card). I am sure that
it is an MSI though.

Is there any software around that searchs my system and can tell me what I
have or need to sort this out?

The problem that I ahve is when I am on Skype to the other person it sounds
like I am stood in a very windy location. There voice sounds spot on though.

Cheers
Lenny

I would strongly recommend CPUID from:

http://www.cpuid.com/

This software can run from the floppy and need not be installed. Quite
informative as well especially if you don't know the type of memory your
system can take. The file is in zip format and needs to be unzipped.

The most obvious places to look would be in the computer's manual
or on the computer manufacturer's web site. Failing that:

1) Start > Run > MSinfo32.exe.

or

2) Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information.

or

3) Start > Run > DXDiag.exe.

or

4) Right-click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager.

or

5) If none of the built-in tools provide the information you want, you
can use these utilities to help determine the answer to your question:
