Do a search on IEradicator. I used it because of problems
I was having. Be ready to reinstall Java, Shockwave, etc
(if you plan on using them). I also had to reassociate
image files, even though they were already associated with
Paint Shop Pro. It leaves the core needed to run Windows
Explorer and the like, but it guts everything else...I
even got a couple of file not found thingys when I
restarted (plus a DOS prompt flashed up for a few
seconds), but it cleared up after 2 restarts. I used it
because of the slow scrolling I was suffering with on
various sites...still don't know what caused THAT. I
reinstalled IE 6 after using this product. The slow
scrolling has not reappeared. To be clear, it worked for
me, but I had a time adjusting everything in IE back to
the way I like it after I reinstalled (as I said it gutted
almost everything IE related (BACKUP YOUR FAVORITES, it
didn't delete mine but it did screw them up), but it only
took a few minutes and it did not seem to hamper operation
of anything else). By the way, you can browse AOL throw-
away discs (show all files in File Options) to get the
browser version needed to reinstall and MS Virtual Machine
(JAVA). Whew! I'm winded...
