Is there another way to link tables other lnked table manager?

I have a database that is based on BE/FE design. I wrote it for one location,
and now my company wants me to install it at other locations on the local
server (BE), so the BE link will be different at every location. Each time I
want to install the FE I have to go in and change to links to BE through the
linked table manager. It would be nice, if I could link differently, then I
would not have to physically, go to each location

Is there another way to link tables other than using the linked table
manager? any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you include the trailing single-quote mark in the link. I find
that Windows Mail wants to cut it off, but it's an important part of the
link (which worked for me).

SQL Server / ADP could make this a lot easier for you.

You are so big and strong, you are so kind and sweet, you are so bright and
helpful, you must be your own hero.

You'd have someone install a server DB, rewrite their application in what
would likely be to them an "unknown tongue", upgrade/transfer the data,
because this would "make it a lot easier" to link tables?

Good thing for them that most posters here are, obviously, ignoring your
snipes because they contain no useful information, and are just posted
trolling for an argument.

Gina,

Hopefully you found the correct page OK. If you are developing
databases for a client you might also be interested in the Back-End
Update code on the same page (PeterS Hibbs).

Peter,

Yes, I found the page just fine and I saw a few there that intrigued me!
Big THANK YOU for sharing such useful information!

'install a server db'?

it's called WINFS, yo

WinFS is here already; it shipped with SQL 2005. It's just not called
that.

Free, fast, simpler portable connections-- for the dipshits that
couldnt' figure it out in the first place.
