Is there a way to edit context menu

Is there a way to edit a context menu [I'm assuming that's what it's
called... my apologies if I'm swapping in the wrong word].

In just a standard use of Windows, such as if I'm using IE, and I click on
Favorites, then right click on one of the Menus in Favorites, a Context menu
comes up. I'm wondering of there is a way to take some things off and put
some things on that menu [and not just for using IE, but for the Desktop,
Word, etc].

I'd give a specific item I would like off, but I'm more interested in
knowing how to do it in general, and not for just one item at a time, if
there is such a way.

if there is only a way to do it per item, the current item I want off is:

Browse With Paint Shop Pro X

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

They are located in the registry, often under a registry key called "shell"
or "MenuExt". So the basic procedure would be to find and delete the
relevant entries.

You can find where yours is located by using a registry scanning tool,
scanning your registry using a search string like say "with Paint Shop Pro".
A tool like RegScanner can help you make fast registry searches.

Know, however, that registry editing can be dangerous. A mistake here and
there can hose your system - so minimum would be to set a system restore
point before trying any changes.

Have a look for options in Paint Shop Pro itself, first, to see if there is
an option to remove the right-click entry. (eg Tools > Options... or Edit >
Preferences....).Many programs allow you to remove such entries themselves,
via the options in their menus.

If you are familiar with using Regedit.exe then...

Start-Run-Regedit
Remove this key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\Browse with Paint Shop Pro
