Hi all...
web browsers have pop-up blockers. What I would like to have is a pop-
up blocker that controls the Windows on my Windows XP SP3, so that
they will not be able to steal focus.
So that they will work more like X-Windows for Unix, in that the focus
follows the mouse.
Knowing Windows I guess this type of a pop-up blocker would have to
run as a service?
Because that old tip of writing the hex value of "30d40" into
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Control Panel \Desktop \ForegroundLockTimeout
certainly is quite useless - very many Microsoft applications ignore
it altogether (and most other vendors applications do as well).
But if anyone knows of a software that can block windows from stealing
focus, would be nice to hear about it.
Thanks in advance.
