I copy an access (.mdb) file from a computer to another computer. In the
original computer the file was in C:\ABC. In the the second computer the file
is in C:\documents and settings\FM. When I open the MDB file and I click on
the table (or for that matter in any form, queary...) I get a message that
sey 'C:\ABC' is not a valid path...

Can any one help

is it a split db with a back end?? this would be the most common cause for
such a message - you did not move the back end and relink it...so it is still
having the old path name....you need to relink to the backend at its new
location...

if not split, then for some reason there is code occuring at launch that is
looking for a file at this c:/abc location...

NTC,

Thank for your help. I relinked the databases and it seems to works.

Thanks again...
