Is NIS Anti Spam reall upgraded?

A

Australian

Recently installed SP3 unfortunately.
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2002sp3.htm#problems indicates that a fix
has "reportedly installed by LiveUpdate", but my machine is still affected
detrimentally by the changes. This includes that dreaded pop up box telling
me something (ie NIS) is trying to access my contacts (and then it freezes).

Are other still having this problem despite the supposed fix?

Have you ran LiveUpdate manually as well? Program updates are often not
installed "Automatically"

-Save Embedded Pictures in Their Original Format
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

Then apparently the source of my information was incorrect.

Disable NIS' integration with Outlook. You won't be any less protected.

I have found a work around for the problem with Norton antispam go into
configure and delete all the entry's in the allowed list you will find that
the program will work and not lock up.
