Is my MOBO dead? (A7N8X-X)

Asus A7N8X-X
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
512 MB DDR400 CL3 PC3200
430W Award PS

Board ran fine for about 2 days then died. Power LED on the board is
on, NIC link light is lit but no POST or boot when powered on.

PS fan, drives, case LEDs, etc show no activity at all. I can see the
video card fan move slightly when I switch on so I think it's getting
power ok.

I removed the battery and jumpered the BIOS reset pins per the
instructions in the manual.

All jumpers are set to the default and I haven't upgraded to a newer
BIOS version yet.

FSB set to 133MHZ 12.5/15x.

One of the posts here suggested moving the reset switch to the SMI
pins. Not sure why but I tried it anyway to no avail.

Is there anything else I can try or should I just return the board?

Thanks.

Sounds like your power supply is not working, fan & drives need 12V which
looks as though it's not there, the 5V supply is maybe giving out something
if you have LED's on but my guess is a new PSU should fix it

You are correct sir. I swapped out the power supply and it's running fine now.

Guess it pays to go with a quality PS. It was only a few days old.

Thanks for the help!
