Hi,
I want to know if there a few hundred machines [each are bdc], good
to have dhcp server running on every machine[all machines are in the
same domain]? If there are problems, what kind of problems that those
machine will have?

Thanks
Satish

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but I am looking for a valid reason or some
article which states why it shouldn't be and what problems will arise.
If anybody can help me with this, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
Satish

Not a good idea. Run two dhcp servers with the scope split up 80/20.

Hi,

You can have multiple dhcp servers in the network but only
the main domain server will solve the DHCP function.

According to my knowledge it's not required(Multiple DHCP
server).
