Is it Safe to delete old Uninstall_KB files

I'm using XP Pro SP2 and have always updated the OS. Now there are 40
Uninstall files residing in the C:\Windows\ folder. These folders seem
to be on no value since the system is running just fine and some of the
folders date back to 2004. To me this is simply wasted hard drive
space. Is it safe do delete these folders at this point?

Yes if enough time has passed since the installation and you don't have negative
consequences based upon a particular update.

I would delete all that are older than three weeks old.
