Is it possible to enter an appointment into two calendars

I have my own calendar and a calendar that I share with my work group. Is it
possible to enter an appointment in my own calendar and then having
automatically be entered into the calendar that I share with my work group.

No it is in a folder that one of the people in our work group created.
