Is it possible to embed a report within a form?

Hi and thanks for your help

Is it possible to embed a report within a form? Why I need this is I am
using Lebans Rich Text Format active x control for the clinic notes section
of my database. However this cannot be used in continuous forms so I would
like to have a subform in single view to enter this information and to
display it in a report for continuous view. Can do this but the report is
opened up seperately and I would much prefer it to be embeded below the
clinic notes subform so that people could see at a glance the past clinic
notes entries. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Someone may have a way to do this, but the only thing I can think of would
be to place a Subform/Subreport control on the form. When you do this on a
form, the only things it will accept as a Source Object are forms, tables,
and queries. It won't accept a report when used on a form.

You can put a snapshot viewer control on the form and use it to view a saved
snapshot file of your report. You need some vba to save the report, but this
isn't too difficult.

That looks like the way to go. Thanks very much. I was experimenting with
saving to pdf but the activex control for that is very buggy in Access.
