IPhoto 4.03 and Nikon Coolscan V

I've been away from scanning slides for some time while I familiarized
myself with a Nikon D70 digital camera.

Have no problem getting images from the camera's Compact Flash card into
IPhoto which I recently upped to 4.03 in OS 10.3.5.

Today I went back to the scanner (still using Nikon 4.02) and went through
the preview and scan routine with 35mm slides. But when I tried to import
them (through File/Import) I couldn't get them to the Photo Library.

Did I change a Pref when I started importing digital photos? And how do I
get the slide import function to work again?

Answering my own question: When importing into IPhoto, I should have
selected Pictures and not IPhoto Library. Now it works!
