Ipconfig error - unable to access internet

[acotyledon]

have been unable to access the internet since getting a virus. When I run
ipconfig I get the following message:
Windows IP Configuration
An interal error occurred: The request is not supported.
Please contact Microsoft Product Support Servces for further help.
Additional information: Unable to query host name.

are you sure you are clean?

I used several virus scans. super anti spyware, spyware doctor. "your
privacy is in danger" virtumonde....there were several. I am pretty sure I
am clean now. whatever I had was pretty vicious, first it slowed me down so
I couldn't do anything and then it blocked the internet. When I run a scan
now it comes back clean.
