ip on ipaq 5550

Hi

This is probably a really stupid question, but I can't find it, so I'll ask
anyway!

I recently got the HP iPaq 5550 with Pocket PC 2003.
I'm wondering; where can I find the IP number provided by the DHCP?

The device many have ipconfig.exe on it. If you run 'ipconfig /all', that
should give you the IP addresses of all installed network adapters.

From where can I run ipconfig. Thers no start/run or a command prompt... or
is it?

I can tell you where it is on the 5450. In the WLAN applet, there is a
button called Status. Click this button - the IP address is listed
near the bottom of this screen.

Also, here is an excellent free utility that will display the IP
address and more:

(Check out their other products as well).

Except that ipconfig outputs to a console window or the KITL debug
connection, neither of which are available on Pocket PCs.

I found it under Settings / Connections / Advanced / Network card / Network
Adapters / iPaq USB Wireless Adapter
If "Use server-assigned IP address" is set, the ip address is displayed in
the textbox where you can set a specific ip address.
