IP Multicasting HELP!!

Hello,

Im having difficulty with Multicasting. Im using a
Windows 2000 machine and trying to multicast across my
network. The problem is My Windows 2000 Advanced Server
does not recognize the message sent by the Windows 2000
desktop. Does anyone know what might cause this? Please
help!! Thank you!

Is there any networking gear in the middle that needs to support either PGM
or IGMP ? If so.. make sure they are congfigured correctly... otherwise it
is possible that the multicast packets are not making it to the server from
the workstation.

Do you know what might cause the packets to not be
received by the server from the workstation?
