Invoice Numbering

I'm using the invoice template in Excel. Each invoice has
an invoice number. I need the formula that will change
the invoice number everytime I create a new invoice. I
want the number to increment by 1 every time I create a
new invoice.

Can someone give me the correct formula that will allow
this to happen?

Hi Mike!

There is an auto numbering macro in the template that needs the
TMPLTNUM.XLA addin to be installed. It has the advantage of not
inserting a number until you are certain that you are going to need
it.
