Invalid Product Key

My 2-year old Dell came preinstalled with XP Pro. I have
been able to do critical & other update without incident
until now. Now when the system tries to install SP2, an
error is generated saying the Product Key is invalid. We
re-installed the OS from the disks supplied from Dell
without resolving the issue. Any suggestions.
