Invalid page fault MHTML.dll

If I go to a website that uses frames and click on links in one that load in
the other frame after a few clicks I get the following error:

module MSHTML.DLL at 0167:70c62b6e.

This causes IE to shut down. There is no mention of this error on the
microsoft website.
I hav windows98 and IE 6.0.2800.1106IC ; SP1

Please visit Windows Update. You are running a very outdated and much-less
secure version of IE, OE and Windows.

To assure a clean install, your anti-virus application should be disabled
and all other running processes closed before installing from anything,
including Windows Update.
