'Invalid Outside Procedure' suddenly appeared

In an MDB that has been used for over a year I have been updating the main
data input form, adding some new fields to the table and altering several
macros, all background stuff. It all was working fine and I spent some days
testing. Worked like a charm. Today I went in and ---- it came up with the
error 'Invalid Outside Procedure' and indicated the very very simple Macro
that opens the form and sets various Unbound Text boxes - 2 lines; Openform
and SetValue. I have copied the form and started again and it's all fine. But
what the $%** could have caused it. Can't find anything in Knowledge Base or
in the various discussion groups and as I am leaving soon I'm a bit concerned
that this could happen out of the blue. Thanks for any input.

I don't have the answer - possibly one of the hard core MVPs will....

but in working daily w/ Access I run across strange behaviour that is
unexplainable. If you have fixed it so it opens ok now - - and all your
changes are done. It won't return - is my strong belief.

I can't say why your changes cause it ....but it probably did. and since
you've done a successful fix...it will most probably be fine going forward.

of course if you are leaving any written documentation behind it is always
good to make a note for whomever down the road....
