Hi, I have a database which has been in use for 2 years. Now all of a
sudden when one particular user enter a date into a field all
information within that record the text changes to Chinese style
characters. Also I am unable to navigate to the next record as i get
'Invalid Argument' error warning.

The database is split into front end and back end but I am unable to
delete the record. Can anyone help

Paul,

Sounds like corruption... MAKE A BACK-UP... Then try creating a new
database and importing all objects into it. The *bad* object may NOT import
into the clean database. There are some ideas here on how to retrieve it
here... http://allenbrowne.com/ser-47.html READ the entire page as there
are some suggestions there that may apply to your situtation and you don't
want to miss those.

Definitely corruption.
