Invalid Argument Error opening table in datasheet view

When I try to open a table in datasheet view, I
get "Invalid Argument" error. When I click on Help I get:
"Invalid argument. (Error 3001)
You tried to perform an operation that involves a routine
in a DLL, and one of the arguments to the routine is
invalid. Check your entry to make sure you have specified
the correct arguments, and then try the operation again."
I can open the table in design view and noticed at the
Key Field is no longer assigned and I can't save the table
to reassign it. Please help! I need to get at the data and
I can't. Thanks!

Try right clicking on the table in the database window and
then copy and paste the table with data and structure to a
new table name. When the new table is created rename the
old table name to any table name that doesn't exist. Then
make the new table that you created the name of the old
table you are trying to open and try to open it again to
see what you get.

Another solution may be to create a new databse and 1.
import everything in the old database to the new database.
2.rename your old database to a backup name and 3. rename
the new databse to the name of the current database name
you were using.
