Off to yet another job interview.........lost count of how many I've been to without success so far this year.
Wish me luck, my hardware upgrade plans are riding on it

Not much around these parts so looks like I will be back in care/nursing work...trying to avoid working nights again though.

Thanks Ady :)

Good new and bad.

The bad----the stupid jobcentre advertised the post as being 42 hours when it is in fact only 18.

The good-I have been offered the post, starting next week :)

Isn't much but it'll help whilst I seek a secondary post, and the lass who interviewed me said if more hours become available I can take them on.

Is minimum wage but hey.......little is better than none.

Just had a phone call for another job interview next week too.
Now it's just a matter of finding a second post where the hours don't clash.

:)

Hi :)

Well, my part time job is coming along nicely.
Already I have scheduled 28 hours for this week and 36 for next week.

So it's not so "part time" after all.

The owner of the place I work seems quite happy with my work cos when I told him yesterday about my interview elsewhere he said "I hope it goes badly".

The wages are very poor (minimum wage) but feeling appreciated adds value to the job for me.

So in all it is going along nicely, though I would rather not have to work every weekend but, needs must.

Now to get my finances back on track and add some more crunching power!!!
