Internet slow

Hi,

It's so strange. 2 computers inside the same network.
Computer A is Pentium III
Computer B is Pentium IV

Of course computer B is running faster than computer A, but while we access
the internet, computer A is actually faster than computer B, why so? How
should I fix it?

This could be due to loads of reasons - first we need to establish some
details....

Are both computers using the same default gateway?

Does either computer have any static routes loaded?

Are both computers using the same DNS servers for name resolution?

Are either computer using any kind of network caching (proxy server)?

Does either computer have any kind of local internet monitoring
software/nanny software loaded?

Are both computers using the same browser?
