Internet Sharing Checkbox does not appear

I entered the Help and Support menu, and went under "Internet Connections," and then under "Enable Internet Connection Sharing on a network connection." I was fine until the third step: "On the Advanced tab, select the 'Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection' check box."

It had told me to go to network connections, and from there, select Local Area Connection 2, and under Network Tasks, "Change the Settings of the connection." As I explained earlier, I went to the advanced tab to find that there was no check box with the label "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection."

Please help, someone.

The ICS option only appears when all of these are true:

1. There are at least two enabled, connected network connections: one
for the Internet, and one or more for the LAN.

2. The Internet Connection Firewall is disabled on the LAN
connection(s).

3. The Internet connection isn't bridged.
