Internet Information services XP pro

Hi!

I have a problem, when i install the Internet Information Services
from my XP professional CD i have the message that there is no
response from server (or something like that) but all the components i
choose from my CD seem to install normally. So theoretically i should
see Internet Information Services in the Computer Management/Services
and Application tab but there is no Internet Information Services
item!!!

What to do? I cannot use the MS Visual Studio facilities to run XML
stuff and create my web-pages without it:-(

In the Add/Remove programs -> Components -> the ticks are present in
the IIS box...


I dont understand

I've seen this happen before.

Go back into the add/remove windows components list and uncheck IIS to
uninstall it.

Then reboot

Then reinstall it.
