internet explorer

i just upgraded from 98se to xp home. everything worked
fine until the next day. now i keep getting internet
explorer encountered a problem and must restart. it sends
the error report to microsoft then looks like it starts
explorer again. i downloaded netscape's browser through
kazaa and it works fine. i can open yahoo messenger and
it works fine. i am connected to the internet with high
speed cable modem. please send me some suggestions

You may want to try running a spybot scan, because junkware may be at
the root of the problem.

I'd say that you're better off sticking with Netscape. Overall, Netscape
has a better security track record than Internet Explorer.
