Internet Explorer

Had to reload XP due to power supply and hard drive crash. Used original
Dell disks that came with the system. Internet Explorer does not appear.

There's an Intenret Explorer folder with everything but the .exe and icon.

I tried downloading Explorer from Microsoft but the installation stopped and
gave me a message saying there was a newer version already on the computer.
I can't find it anywhere. Talked to my office IT people and they gave me
suggestions but I still can't find it.

I loaded Firefox so I could get online and send this. Anybody got a clue?
Thanks.
