Internet Explorer (XP-Home) won't open for one of my users

I am running Windows XP Home edition with two users. Both users have
supervisor authority. The Internet Explorer for one of the users
doesn't open. When I double click the icon (whether on the desktop or
the start menu or the Program folder it doesn't matter) the hourglass
pops on for a few seconds and then nothing. IE for the other user
works fine. The internet connection is fine for the problem user as
email through outlook works.

I have tried uninstalling the IE component and reinstalling it but no
help there. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem: IE works for all users exept one (me). I have reinstalled IE, reinstalled Windows XP Professional, but nothing works. Did you get a relply to your question?
