Internet explorer will not open

Mike

Please forgive me if I should be posting this in another group.

Everytime I try to open Internet explorer I get an error box with the title

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"

The box has the following message:

"Runtime Error!
Program:C\Program Files\Internet Exporer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Can anyone please help or point me in the right direction to resolve this
issue?

Many thanks

Mike

Hi,

Go to the Control Panel and open Internet Options. On the Programs tab click
the button to manage add-ons. Disable all non-microsoft ones, then apply/ok
your way out and reopen Internet Explorer.
