Internet Explorer v7.0...has the time come?

F

Fran

Using XP Home & IE6. I am wondering how those of you who certainly know
more than me about computers and internet surfing as to whether it is time
to start using Internet Explorer's most recent version. I hear that IE7
does have its share of bugs and that some users are not pleased. Any and
all advice is welcome as to whether an active internet user with
below-average technical savvy like me should switch to IE7 or wait till the
kinks are worked out?
Thanks in advance, Fran

Just go to IE7 users > See bugs and fixes > Decide yourself

I hve no problems with it here (although I run it with the Maxthon shell on
top of it). Because of its security enhancements, I think everyone should
run it.

Yes, the time has come to install Microsoft's most secure
browser ever....Internet Explorer 7! It is far more stable
than the old IE6 version!

I uninstalled it. It made my mouse freeze, and occationally gave me a black
screen.

I used two beta versions and now use the release version. Haven't had any
problems. It's easy to uninstall if you do run into problems.

I'm going to have to wait tell they get a few more bugs worked out, I had to
uninstall it because it was giving me problems with accessing ZIP files on my
network.

I've been using the Enigma browser shell and like it...
but gave Maxthon a try. It works quite well however I ran into one minor
problem.
When I was fooling with the settings...I disabled *all* the tool bars and
ended up having
*no* menu to re-enable any... I tried everything I could think of
and finally had to delete one of the .ini files in the config folder
and restart and re-setup the app.

Did you intend to post one link twice or was the second link intended to be
