Internet Explorer slow even at 52.0 kbps

My interenet is wayyyyy slower than usual. When I click
on a website.. it gets "hung up" for a while.. then
starts loading the page. Even checking email.. it "hangs"
for a while then loads. What is it.. the computer or
the internet provider? Does anyone know? Thanks.. G

have you done the usual and looked for spyware sneaking out?

spybot safer-networking.org
update both before scan.

No I haven't tried a spyware.. will look for one and try
that.. I never thought that might be the problem.. tks

IT WORKEEDDDDDDDD... I downloaded ad aware and cleaned
the spyware out.. grrrrrrrrr... thanks for your help.. G
